The kids that are mistreating their parents at their old age will get theirs. Both my parents were sick, both had hospice nurses. We kept our parents at home, us kids took care of both parents in the same home they worked so hard for. My sisters and I bathed, changed and feed them, everyday. They lived longer than the Drs expected they would. We loved our parents so much, till God took them both home. The hospice nurses told us they were both well taken care of. Same here. While it took 2 years to plan because 10 sets of people canceled on me, and I risked my own life to do it, I moved 1100 miles away with three fur babies, one of which is senior and has issues, to move into my parents. Originally I came to start a new business near them but when I got here and saw how bad they were I decided to stay. My dad has been in total denial about both of their illnesses and they are still functional, but need help. I've been here 4 months now and I only wish I could have come sooner. I have a mother who cannot retain beyond a minute, and never knows where she is and this is never been addressed with a doctor, I'm taking them both to the doctor next week. So whoever goes first, it is going to be so much work for me and I don't know how I would handle it alone but I will. I'm never putting them in a facility.

Most kids born in the late 89 through today, treat their parents in ways that those that are 40+ find shocking , they think very little of they’re parents and I’m talking about even those who dotted upon they’re kids gave them everything they could …it truly makes parents of 35+ children , wonder what’s happened, as they’re children were taught to respect others especially their parents and grandparents, only to learn first hand how these children really don’t care about anyone more than themselves .

@@jjsalt1982 that’s how recent generations treat they’re parents. The had wonderful parents that took very good care of them . We all know there are exceptions, but the majority of parents take good care of their children along with giving them many things, that the parents themselves were never given. This was done in hopes of making things easier for they’re children when they are young adults , things like cars, pair college tuition , letting the kids live home rent free till they’re in their 30s. Generations from the 80s till today treat their parents badly. Don’t care what happens to them, forget the thought of helping them when they get older !

You don't love your children but expect love? Interesting concept. Try getting one of those charities to love you. If you loved them, your outcome would have been different. Control is not love. I'm sure you voiced your control issues to them, that you are willing to give to strangers first. Don't be surprised when some of them treat you like a stranger. The ones that still love you after you stated that charities will benefit are fools. If my parents can't love me unconditionally, I don't want their love.

Real estate agents are busy and dont have time to be involved with family vendettas. They are also diligent in their work and would have found out quickky that "Gavin" wasnt the property owner. Once the nursing home had found out the father was missing, they would have notified the police and "Gavin" immediately. Fictional but eye opening.

I know a case that is the same. 2 daughters had guardianship. One of the daughter wanted to sell the house at all cost. In her greed she thought that keeping the elderly in his own home would give more expenses and then no money would be left for her. So she moved the man against his will and the another daughter's will and put him on the cheapest nursing home where shares with other elderly people. It was outrageous. The man wanted to die in his own home. And the 2 daughters were not even real daughters, one was stepdaughter and the another one was a person that was brought to his home. He brought her since she was a child like unnoficial adoption. And this demon woman that he embraced in his life and in his home was the one that put him in the nursing home. She did not even get involved on the care giving tasks towards him, it was the step daughter that cared about him, fed, showered, took care of him. People say that when elderly people are moved to nursing home they don't last long, they die very soon. It's true, the man barely survived 3 years. And after the man died, they sold the home to grab the money. That's why I don't have children. I see my neighbors children, oh god, they go crazy, no respect, only crazy scream, jerk, And I think to myself, if you don't stop this crazy boy, he will a future criminal and nobody will like him.

Does Gavin have POA? Is his name on the deed to the house? If not its fraud. Its the title company that researches who is the legal owner of the property.

It so important to get your business in order, before you become ill or incapable of taking care of your business, as a retired nurse i seen the worst in families, sad so sad, my mother had 3 girls, before she ever became ill she divided all het jewelry between us, and if anything was to happen insurance was to be divided of what was left, now out of the 3, im the only one used her money for her headstone, the othet didn't give a penny, and thats ok its my choice to buy it, but it was also my mothers money, greed over money

In similar real life cases I have witnessed like this, is always biological sons or daughters the betraying villains, we hear in the news crimes committed by biological children taking away their parents life. Is very unusual for adopted children to betray their adoption parents. Biological children are mostly the culprit.

My mom passed away almost a year ago. My mom left me and my sibblings a bit of money. I would rather have my mom than the money. We also had to sell her home, which was my second home and that was so hard to do. How can anyone be so greedy! I think about my mom every day.

I was my dads POA. I had to put him in nursing home because being in my 60s I couldnt take care of him by myself. He had dementia and got to the point that he was having trouble walking. It was a bad experience. I was also his executor. I took care of all his financial affairs. He had a small home, and all his money went to the nursing home. He died, and I went to a lawyer. I wanted everything done by the book and kept all receipts and bank statements, etc. I didnt even take a fee for being POA. I had a sister in the will, and I wanted NO one to be able to accuse me of cheating them. I had to do everything, but split the sale of the home 50/50. It was a job I never wanted, but my mom and dad would be very happy with the way I handled it.😊

These days children are the devil . I prayed a lot 4 of the children changed a little bit. But the other 3 children are not changing their way may God guide them Amin
