Wonderbread vs Squidjit [Popping Top 4] Vancouver Battlezone 2024

Thank you to everyone who came out to support VBZ this weekend from near and far! Incredible to see all the amazing dancers and so many new faces with some of them being their 1st battles.
Friday, brought the battles to Sapperton Community Hall. We loved the space and encourage anyone who’s needing a great space to check them out!
Saturday, we held an actual street party at the most incredible space @myuptownnewwest (Uptown Plaza at Belmont St). Not even the rain could scare us away. Grateful for our space (granted by @new_westminster) under the tents that was kindly donated by @tourismnewwest - we couldn’t have survived the day without them. This was the perfect location for our event with so many food & beverage options.
We’re grateful that @jenniferwhitesidenewwest our New Westminster MLA and Minister for Mental Health & Addictions and @patrickjohnstone Mayor of New Westminster came to support our event - it was a true honour 🙏🏽
Sunday, we finished off the weekend with workshops with @natasha_gortex @hyablak @carolineladyc - We were incredibly blessed to have them be our VBZ2024 judges alongside our U18 judges @bopngeek @damonbabybread @eden_pothier. Thank you for being part of VBZ!
Shout out to @bernardsblvd our incredible MC who is a pillar of our Street Dance Community and the President of @vsdfestival_ (happening Aug 2-5 - don’t miss it)!
