Hi! I just finished making this with a size 7 chunky yarn! I love it! I didn’t notice until the very end that you switched the decreasing amount. Instead of doing 8sc then a dc then 7,6,5,4,3,2,1 you switch it to 8,7,4,3,2. Why is that???

I think it's a combination of several things. The yarn is very bulky, your hook size might need to be 2 sizes bigger (without causing openings in your flower) and your tension should be even looser. I have a hard time working with yarn this bulky so I'm making mine with thinner velvet yarn.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong? When I follow the directions for the center circle I have more stitches then what it says I should? So I took it out and counted the stitches as I worked then my row it short of my stitch marker when I had the correct #? I have been crocheting for 8 years. My guess is you are doing the staggering incorrectly, you should have 60 stitches on the center before you attach the petals

Hi!! Currently working on attaching all of the petals. Im so confused becaude I have a lot of space leftover & only two petals to add. They definitely won't fill the rest of the open area on the center. Are you supposed to skip any spaces between each petal?

Nope, shouldn’t be any spaces left and you don’t skip any spaces. Make sure you attach each petal with 6 stitches

Did you end up redoing it? I have re-put on all of them like 4 times and I still have a gap big enough for a whole other petal, with I have six stitches for each petal and there are 60 stitches in the base. I just really don't know what is going wrong

@@aleckitten680 I did end up getting it. I kept losing track of where I was so I used stitch markers. I put one in the 3rd stitch of the flower after I held it flat to each other then I put one in the 6th stitch on the base so I knew where I was stopping. It took me a lot of time & repeat counting but I got it eventually
