On the right side of the beach is called "Canto do Moreira" it is famous and very frequented by professional surfers, for its very tubular and powerful waves, and it was on this side of the beach that the first Brazilian world surfing champion Gabriel Medina caught the first waves and learned to surf.
Accessed by a short 500-meter trail, this stretch of beach is considered the most exclusive due to the absence of tourists and the dense vegetation typical of the region. Canto do Moreira is also home to the best diving and sea turtle watching spots in Maresias.
