They are using UV resin for a lot of the projects. It requires a UV lamp (usually used for nails) and if you are coloring the resin you can't color it solid or the UV light cannot penetrate the resin and cure, or harden it. It will end up sticky, soft and probably kinda gross. If you just color your UV resin a little so it's still transparent, it will work but you have to pour in very thin layers, cure under the light, pour your next layer, cure and so on until you're finished. I would recommend a 2 part epoxy resin or Art resin, like Liquid Diamonds, Let's Resin, Unicone Art. All really good choices. Not cheap. Some are a 1 to 1 mix ratio and some are 2 to 1 mix ratio. Takes anywhere from 8 to 24 hours to cure or harden. I only use UV for nice jewelry pieces because they are pretty small. Watch some of Amy Made You tube videos on resin work. You can learn just about everything from her videos and she explains it so it's very easy to understand and to know what not to do. Also, I mentioned that resin is not cheap but UV resin is really not cheap. Pretty expensive actually so save it for the finer details or small jewelry. It is good to have on hand in my opinion.

-Not all resin is food safe. -You can't use fresh flowers or food with resin. -You must wear gloves and a mask while working with resin. -Resin should be warm to prevent bubbles from forming. Watch accounts from people who know what they're doing. 🤦🏾‍♀️
