The waters!! I feel thoroughly refreshed just watching and hearing this. What a very beautiful place! (And I thought that the woman must have slept very good that night!). Are places like this seasonal? It looks like it might be a challenge to even access the property in winter.

She slept very well. I know becouse she's my wife. Very brave as she has trouble with her knees and suffer from reumatism. Only people who own houses in the valley (few houses) are permitted to drive here. Others may apply for a permission, but it must be very importsnt. The road are closed during the winter as there are avelanges all the time there.

@@mrtobbs Ah, I wondered. I recognized the walk. It's how I walk now. (And I'm having my first knee replacement in just two weeks!!). Avalanche danger - I can imagine the danger with those steep slopes. As I was watching that beautiful water rush by, I thought - hmmmm - someone should bottle and sell it. I laughed to myself because I have actually tasted the VOSS water. And even though I'm told it doesn't come from Voss, nor is it direct "mountain" water, it is still delicious. Clean, crisp and with a slight rocky taste. It's very expensive for me to have a bottle, but I do get it occasionally for a special treat.
