My absolute favorite song from this band. Once again an anti-suicide song with a really good story. Hurt - Stay Is another song from them. Are also the only two I know from the band. Were probably two hit wonder. 😁

This is such an odd coincidence! I thought about this band for the first time in literally five or six years while out walking with my wife this morning (we’re holidaying to see her family in Poland, and a lot of the stark 20th Century architecture instantly reminded me of this music video), and I really hoped to see some noteworthy reactions…did NOT expect one from you guys, especially from just the day before last! I’m thrilled! Glad you liked it btw - it was on my ‘Gives You Goosebumps’ playlist back in the early days of Spotify…

Haven’t heard this in a while, great refresh. I hadn’t seen the video before, I liked the contemporary dancers and the late 80’s melody vibe. Always reminded me of Spandau Ballet/ Paul Young. Thanks for the smile and earworm.

*HURTS: Highly recommendation for their song "Stay". "Stay" peaked in Germany at number 3, while their song "Wonderful Life" was one step higher at number 2. Greetings & Stay safe.* 🎵🌟🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌟🎵👍🔊✅🤘😈🤘

Yes!!! Glad you reacted to this. I knew you would like them. I always felt they had an 80s feel to them; sort of Robert Palmer mixed with Pet Shop Boys. I know I mentioned it before, but definitely check out "Lights (it's a good song to dance to 😀)

Loved this when it came out, yeah about 10 years ago... yeas the bands look and sound was directly out of the late 80s suave pop... which enjoyed a kind of resurgence as the 2010s came to an end in the UK... quite a few bands kind of rode that wave, but The Hurts we're the leaders in that brief resurgence of 80s decadence. Great reaction, this song was on my get Mike and Ginger to listen to this list of suggestions to request. :) The stand out song from their debut album this track was lifted from is Blood,Tears, Gold... give it an airing on the Channel... its a proper pretentious 80s suave sound... I promise :)

They remind me of The Pet Shop Boys, but a modern version. The musical guy has the same kind of background mute vibe like Chris Lowe used to have in their music videos

„Miracle“ and „Stay“ are also fantastic songs by them and worth reacting to! 🤘

Yes, I liked that too, Ginger. Also Robert Palmer reference, I think not too many blokes don’t like that video even if they don’t like Robert Palmer. ❤️🤘🎸🇦🇺

Got their first album from which this one is taken. It has some really great songs on it, particularly the singles. Right beside "Wonderful Life" as my favourite is "Better Than Love". The video for it is just as borderline pretentious as this one, and it also has a bunch of Robert Palmer-y girls in it. Great stuff! Check it out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIKUp2Smgsl8pbM

Hi Mike, Ginger, if you are looking for some new music, I would like to introduce you to the Australian Prog Metal band Teramaze, the brain child of Guitarist and composer Dean Wells. The singer on this song ‘Nathan Peachy’ only sang on one Teramaze album ‘Her Halo’ and this is the title track from the album, Nathan is an incredible singer, he reminds me of a young Freddy Mercury in some ways, I think you guys will really like this band: Teramaze - Her Halo (Official Video) kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJ25YaGEmMatopY
