Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest point of Thailand, is located in Chiang Mai province. It is great place to get away the busy city and get closer to nature. Hi At the beginning you said you stayed two nights, but i only counted one?(with the hot pot dinner) Also, would it be nice to visit in summer?

Thank you for your comment :)) actually, i stay at the same place for 2 nights so i didn't it say again. And during the summer (between march and may), it's qute hot at the noon but it will be cold at night. Doi Intanon is so good, i recommended to visit here. 😊

SO beautiful. I am visiting Chiang Mai in November, do you need tour guide to go around the national park and the nature trails? Or can you just do this by yourself?

I rent car around 1,000-1,500 baht per day . But if you are not good at driving, i recommended to rent a public transport "a red pick-up truck" or a private van with a driver, it's around 2,000 baht per day and you can take/rent from chiang mai city. 😊

@@starrypinky there are many agents service transport at Chiang Mai airport that you can rent car with a driver. The price is start from 1,200 per day (small car) or you can rent a red pick-up truck to go to Doi Inthanon 1,500 - 2,000 bath per day (max. 10 people). We stay at 'Baan Krajoem Doi Intanon'. @@starrypinky there is a travel agent or the private rent car service with a driver in Chiang Mai Town (price is around 1,000- 2,000 bath per day) - www.pondcarrent.com - facebook.com/Mrleejuniortourservice/ - www.cmguidedriver.com/ Or you can search in the internet "car rent with driver in ChiangMai", i'm sûre that everyone have a service to Doi Inthanon with driver. 😊
