What I’ve noticed is how high prices are this year. Most animated props are 200 with nicest ones being 300-400. We collect older props from the 2006-2011 time frame. I do love the vintage kitschy 50’s to 80’s stuff. We also have a collection of older blowmolds.

I agree with you about the inflatables. I mix them into my yard display and I think it works. Some of the neighborhood kids have favorites and get really excited when they go up.

I bought the headless horseman on the toilet because I thought that particular one was really funny 🤭 I absolutely love the white goth/white silver theme at Michael's this year, I've picked up a few pieces from it already!

If you want a cheap option for the princess skulls. You can find princess.crowns as party favors in a pack. Possible glue them on a bag of skulls on sale and spred out the skulls or glue everything together for a princess skull pile.

Back to Michaels! At least it's not more velvet/80's silly stuff! They can be quite expensive. I love Edgar Allen Poe (NOT on the toilet!) Some of the little framed pictures were really beautiful. The bat wrapped around the skull!! The spinal column!! Some lovely wreaths too. I always think if I won the lottery I would have the most gorgeous Halloween display lol. On a side note, the last few years here in England has not gotten better it's gotten worse for Halloween stuff! I'm so frustrated! I don't understand it since people do love Halloween here, but the retailers just don't get it! Love that telephone with the bottom hand. Thanks for revisiting! xx

Was was happy to see Home Depot had a few things $99. I do not remember much at that price at Lowe's. Michaels is usually high but at least they carry Halloween stuff unlike Hobby Lobby.

I don’t get the toilet or cell phone or yoga stuff. I don’t mind if people like it but funny that it’s popular. I got a couple of the book stacks and was pleased when they arrived. (Can’t get out to shop, health) so I ordered and crossed my fingers 😉

The prices in general are stupid high. Thank you for pointing it out and not constantly saying " Yeah, yeah that's not bad. Only $40 for a pillow, great deal." (that looks like a child designed it.) It's not Grandin Road. Agree about the toilet stuff. About as welcome as the gnomes (for me anyway). Maybe the Bride of Frankenstein in a tub of ghoulish bubbles. But stop with the toilets. I'm trying to think what to do with any that will be in thrift shops because they WILL be there soon. Poe is fine with the skull, maybe break off the back of it and sculpt bench out of it. As tacky as it would be - trousers up? On a toilet?

I wouldn't buy one of those shadow boxes, but I always wanted to get one from their bare wood aisle and try making my own. I've watched enough youtube videos of people who have done it, and it looks fun. And toilets......NO.
