Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in re-enrolling in Job Corps! You can come back and re-enroll at Job Corps if you meet a few requirements: a. Meet all the essential admissions requirements. b. You haven’t been readmitted before (unless you left for medical reasons). And, you must be able to meet the essential admissions requirements. c. Have no more than 18 months of previous paid Job Corps training and can be expected to complete training within a period of time which, when added to the initial stay, will total no more than 24 months, unless the period is extended as part of a reasonable accommodation of a disability. d. Have been out of Job Corps a minimum of 1 year. This may be waived at the discretion of the Regional Director. e. You’re in good standing with behavior. Meaning, you haven’t previously received mandatory separations for Level I disciplinary reasons (refer to Exhibit 3-1, Infraction Levels and Appropriate Center Actions) except for applicants previously separated for Level I drug use (i.e., positive drug test prior to the 45th day after entry, or on second suspicion test). If you fall into these categories, you are eligible to reapply in 1 year. If you fall into these categories and you test positive for drug use upon re-admission, you will be separated immediately and not allowed to reapply to Job Corps. We understand this can be complicated and recommend that you reach out to Admissions staff if you have questions. Visit bit.ly/3JeAamc or call 800-733-JOBS (5627) to speak with an Admissions staff member.
