Alffy Rev's music video represents the wealth of nature, ethnicity, customs and culture in Indonesia. Jellyfish and flying fish can be found in Indonesian waters and only as symbols. The opening dance is from the Dayak tribe, while the song is titled "Paris barantai" by the artist of the Banjar tribe, Anang Ardiansyah. Both tribes are on the Kalimantan island. The dance is a kind of welcome dance with full of joy. While some of the folk songs performed by Novia Bachmid and the traditional outfits she wears come from ethnic groups in Indonesia, namely the song "Sipatoka'an" from North Sulawesi, the song "Sajojo" from Papua, the song "Soleram" from Riau, central Sumatra. , the song "Kampuang nan jauh di mato" from West Sumatra, the song "Manuk Dadali' from West Java and the song "Anak kambing saya" from East Nusa Tenggara. The name of the traditional stringed instrument used by Alffy in the song "Kampuang Nan Jauh di Mato" is "Sape" from the Dayak tribe, Kalimantan which means "picking with fingers". While a mother who is lulling her baby, comes from the Javanese tribe. The song contains the hope that her baby will become a noble, dignified and make proud for the parents. The beautiful house as a backdrop is an authentic traditional Javanese house made of carved teak wood. One of the cities in Central Java, namely "Jepara", is famous for carving crafts. Finally, the Dragon figure that appears (we call it Naga in Indonesian) is a depiction of the Javanese Dragon, a Javanese mythological creature that has been designed since at least the time of the Majapahit kingdom, East Java. It is said that the Javanese Naga or Anantaboga as the guardian deity in the bowels of the earth. It is not surprising that Alffy Rev always brings up Dragons from Javanese mythology, especially during the Majapahit era because Alffy Rev comes from Mojokerto, a city in East Java where the Majapahit kingdom is located The recording of the declaration of independence read by our first President, Soekarno, was taken from the national archives. The last song is actually a national song, not made up at all as we all learn of this song at school ~ and is still sung until today

This is an explanation from lombokfriendly Hi , thanks for doing this awesome reaction. Really enjoyed it. Sending you big hugs from Indonesia. Most people were asking: What are those headpieces she wore? Those headpieces (crowns) she wore called Tiara for females or Mahkota for males. In the past you must wear those kind of headpieces to identify yourself as a royal family member and normally made of gold and silver with diamond installed in the middle of it. Every diamond placed in a Tiara or Mahkota can't be just a normal diamond. It has to be something with a magical power. Meanwhile, headpieces for the usual people are made of clothes. Headpiece is one the most important outfits for almost every ethnic group in Indonesia. Even more important than shirts. In my original tribe and many others, we don't wear shirt for males, We usually wear 3 pieces of sarong (a loose cloth) to cover our waist up to the knee (No shirts on) and of course a headpiece. In my own tradition (Sasak in Lombok) headpiece isn't just an accessory. It is actually more as a symbol that you appreciate your head and to prove that you are responsible to protect it even from the heat. Headpiece is the very first thing you wear when you're born. Your parent will have it made for you a month before you even born. Nowadays, everyone can wear any kind of royal headpieces during their wedding ceremony and many other special occasions. Traditional costumes worn in the video: 1. From the ethnic group (Tribe) of Dayak in Kalimantan called Ta'a (for females) Sapei Sapaq (for males). Their headpieces are made of Hornbill feathers. This is just one of the many traditional costumes belong to the Dayak tribe. 2. I think is from the Kohongian tribe in Sulawesi Utara. This us just one of the many of them in Sulawesi Utara. 3. Based on the headpiece she wore, I think it is from the Asmat tribe called Sali made of bark and decorated with cassowary and bird of paradise feathers. Again, there are so many other traditional costumes in Papua. 4. Kebaya Labuh from the province of Riau. 5. Limpapeh Rumah Nan Gadang from the province of West Sumatera. 6. Payas Agung, Bali. 7. Kebaya Brokat from West Java. 8. Bula Molik (Crescent) made of silver and Gold. What are they singing? (Please refer to the traditional outfits as well because the songs and outfits represent the region where they originated) This video showcases 9 traditional folk songs from 9 ethnic groups out of 879 ethnic group existed in Indonesia. The main song is Bagimu Negeri - One of our national songs. As an Indonesian, there is no way you not gonna cry when singing or listening to that song. It is our oaths to the mother land. Our promises to the nation. And as the answer to the prayers of our parent which Alffy described perfectly through that young mother singing lullaby to her newly born son. A lullaby can't only be just a nice song to bring you to sleep, it consists a prayer, wishes and hopes of our parent to see us grow as someone useful to the nation. Nothing can make them happier than that. By the way, here's the list of the folk songs featured: 1. Paris Barantai from Kalimantan Selatan 2. Si Patokaan from Sulawesi Utara 3. Sajojo from Papua 4. Soleram from Riau 5. Janger from Bali 6. Manuk Dadali from Jawa Barat 7. Anak Kambing Saya from Nusa Tenggara Timur 8. Kampuang Nan Jauh di Mato from Sumatera Barat 9. Tak Lelo Lelo Ledung from Jawa Tengah National song featured is Bagimu Negeri. What is that traditional musical instrument he's playing? That musical instrument is a traditional Dayak instrument called Sape. You must check out UYAU MORI playing Sape SOLO which will bring you into the world of true relaxations. Who did the speech and what is it about? It was the original proclamation speech done by our first president Soekarno. Are those places real? The buildings and nature scenery were all real but yes, CGI effects applied to make the video looks more cinematic. Those floating buildings are; Rumah Gadang (Sumatera), Rumah Toraja (Toraja), Borobudur Buddhist temple (Jogjakarta), and Pura Ulun Danu (Bali). If I'm not mistaken, the Goddess statue where the singer starts her singing is at Royal Pitamaha, Ubud, Bali. Of course they're not floating in real except Pura Ulun Danu which situated on the lake. What is the Symbol that awaken the dragon? It is called Surya Majapahit or known as Dewata Nawa Sanga - The 9 Gods that protect the universe from 9 different dimension compass wise. What are those creatures? The creatures you see at the end of the video are GARUDA and a Dragon known as ANTABOGA from the mythology of the ancient Majapahit kingdom . Antaboga is believed to be the guardian of the underearth dimension. That's why you will find it featured in many of our traditional carvings, crafts, and even in our architectural designs. Meanwhile, Garuda is the main symbol of our country (You can't really showcase it for commercial purposes because It's protected by law). Garuda itself is a huge gigantic bird that can only be found in Indonesia. And is believed by the Hindu as the main vehicle of God Vishnu. Where they shot this video? 1. GWK - Garuda Wishnu Kencana in Bali which known as one of the biggest statues in the world. 2. Royal Pita Maha, Ubud 3. Taman Nusa, Bali 4. Ubud Valley 5. Baleurang, Ubud. Note: Trust me, there are thousands of 'mysteries' yet to be unfold in Indonesia (Nusantara). By the way, thank you for the awesome reaction. It means a lot for all of us in Indonesia.

All songs, except for the last ones, are traditional folk songs from different parts of the country... all sung in respective native languages/dialects, so even Indonesians don't know all the meanings of the lyrics. Many of those songs are taught in kindergarten & elementary school here, though, despite unfamiliarity with some of the languages. 😊 Greetings from Indonesia!

Awesome reaction. Really enjoyed it. Sending you big hugs from the island of Lombok, in the eastern part of Indonesia. In case you'd like to understand what this video is about, here are some details: MOST PEOPLE WERE ASKING: ARE THOSE FLOATING ISLANDS REALLY EXIST? Of course no. What this video trying to tell is that we have plenty of unique historical sites spread over many different islands from west to the eastern part of the country. Of course they're not floating in real except Pura Ulun Danu, Bali which situated on the lake. Those floating buildings are; Rumah Gadang (Sumatera), Rumah Tongkonan (Tana Toraja), Borobudur Buddhist temple (Magelang), and Pura Ulun Danu (Bali). If I'm not mistaken, the Goddess statue where the singer starts her singing is at Royal Pitamaha, Ubud, Bali. Indonesia has 718 regional languages, 1 main language is commonly called Indonesian and has more than 300 ethnic groups, to be precise there are 1,340 ethnic groups The mythological creatures in the last scene were manifestations of Antaboga (Antabugo) & Garuda. Ancient Javanese wayang, symbolizing Antaboga is the king of snakes guarding the bowels of the earth as the "Lord of the Underworld". The figure of Antaboga (Dragon) is inherent in Javanese & Balinese culture, usually found in gamelan carvings, gates, etc as a symbol of 'Guards'. Physically, Antaboga is more like a dragon. Here is the develop, the combination of the gallant Garuda with its wings. As a symbol of the guardian of the world above & below. On his forehead there is a symbol "Surya Majapahit" which means Dewata Nawa Sanga (nine guardian gods in each corner of the wind) Why not just Garuda & Pancasila? Garuda Pancasila is a symbol of the state which is certainly sensitive if it is fantasized anciently. Because the symbol of the state is protected by law.

In the second world war, Indonesia was under the occupation of Japan. So, basically after 3 centuries been colonized by Dutch, the power transformed into Japan. @@JohnnyReactions In 1814 the British came to Indonesia and built Fort York in Bengkulu on the west coast of Sumatra. It was later renamed Fort Marlborough. During the Napoleonic wars in Europe when Holland was occupied by France, Indonesia fell under the rule of the British East India Company (1811-1816). Sir Thomas Stanford Raffles was appointed Lieutenant Governor General of Java and dependencies. He was subordinated to the Governor General in Bengal, India. Raffles introduced partial self-government and abolished the slave trade. In those days slaves were captured and traded by foreigners. He also introduced the land-tenure system, replacing the hated Dutch forced-agricultural system, whereby crops were grown and surrendered to the Government. Borobudur and other temples were restored and research conducted. Raffles wrote his famous book, "The History of Java," in which he described Java's high civilization and culture. During the British stay in Sumatra (1814-1825), William Marsden wrote a similar book on the history of Sumatra, which was published in 1889. After the fall of Napoleon, and the end of the French occupation of Holland the British and Dutch signed a convention in London on August 13, 1814, in which it was agreed that Dutch colonial possessions dating from 1803 onwards should be returned to the Dutch Administration in Batavia. Thus, the Indonesian archipelago was recovered from the British in 1815.

Opening song: "Bagimu Negri" Traditional Song and Traditional outfit : 1st song : "Paris Barantai" from Borneo Costumes : Ta'a for women & Sapei Sapak for men 2nd song : "Si Patokaan" from North Sulawesi Costumes : Laku Tepu 3rd song : "Sajojo" from Papua Costumes : Rok rumbai & Baju kurung 4th song : "Soleram" from Riau Costumes : Kebaya Labuh 5th song : "Kampuang nan jauh dimato" from Minangkabau Costumes : Bundo kanduang Dayak tribe's instrument called "Sape" from Borneo 6th song : "Janger" from Bali Costumes : Payas agung 7th song : "Manuk Dadali" from West Java Traditional costumes with Siger (head pieces) 8th song : "Anak kambing saya" from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Costumes : Ti'i langga 9th song : "Lelo ledung" a keroncong song which was often sung by parents inthe post-independence era (Lullaby from Java). Indonesia Proclamation by first president Mr. Ir. Soekarno Finale "Bagimu Negri" National song of Indonesia Those are small part of Indonesian culture. Why is the creature in the final scene not "Garuda"? Why Dragon? The mythological creature in the last scene of "Wonderland Indonesia" is a manifestation of Antaboga (Ontobugo) and Garuda. In ancient Javanese wayang, Antaboga is the king of snakes who guards the bowels of the earth. Ruler of the "underworld". The figure of Antaboga or Naga is inherent in Javanese and Balinese culture. usually found in gamelan carvings, gates and gates as a symbol of "guardian". Physically Antaboga is more like a dragon, but we develop it by combining the gallant Garuda with its wings. As a symbol of the guardian of the world above and below. And on the forehead there is the symbol "Surya Majapahit" which means Dewata Nawa Sanga. Nine guardian gods in every corner of the wind. Why not Garuda with its Pancasila? Garuda Pancasila is a symbol of the state which is certainly sensitive if it is imagined anciently. Because the symbol of the country is protected by law. That's a bit of a fairy tale. Greetings #Wonderlandlndonesia | Cultured Freedom!

I, as part of the Indonesian people, want to help you understand about Indonesia, especially the shows in the video, that what is presented in the video about "Wonderland Indonesia" is real from the culture and landscape that exists in Indonesia, in fact it is much more, more beautiful and even more amazing than what is presented in the video, and of course too much if everything has to be shown in the form of a video with a limited time duration but at least the video shows represent the whole that exists and is a collection of cultural, folk songs, traditional clothing and landscape of Indonesia which is the largest in the world. As an illustration, in addition to Indonesia being the largest archipelagic country in the world, Indonesia also has a diverse culture and the largest or largest regional language in the world, with a population in 2022 of around 275 million people or the fifth largest of all countries in the world. There are many explanations that want to be conveyed to explain the video show but even then it is difficult because there are so many explanations that must be delivered. Just as an introduction as a whole so that you understand, among others, the declaration of Indonesian independence which is heard in the video and it was originally the voice of the father of Indonesian independence when the Proclamation of Indonesian independence was echoed throughout the world on August 17, 1945. Indonesian independence was obtained from the struggle and sacrifice of wealth. , souls and tears of suffering that are not small by all the people and freedom fighters of Indonesia for 350 years. Another explanation is that the traditional clothes worn and the songs that are played consist of various traditional clothes and songs from the original regions in Indonesia, although this is only a little from the fact that there are many more. The song at the beginning and end of the video is entitled "Padamu Negeri" or in English means "For Our Country", is one of the Indonesian struggle songs which is an obligatory song for us, Indonesian people. Our poet describes, "that Indonesia was created when God was smiling". All you have to do is come to Indonesia and see for yourself, because the truth is that there is much more to it than this video.

A little explanation from me about Indonesia. Sabang to Merauke, Miangas to Rote Island. It has 17,504 islands, like a bridge, which connects, unites and binds diversity. Because diversity is a blessing that must strengthen unity, not the other way around. 718 recorded languages, 1 unifying language of the Indonesian nation, 300 ethnic groups, 1340 ethnic groups from east to west. 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩☺️🙏BHINEKA TUNGGAL IKA WHICH MEANS, DIFFERENT BUT STILL ONE. TORANG SAMUA BASUDARA. which means, We are all brothers. ☺️🙏 terimakasih/thanks👋👋👋👋👋🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
