💬Synopsis:
"Wonderland of Love" follows the story of the emperor's grandson Li Ni, who guards the border and is forced to take on the responsibility of quelling the rebellion. Although Li Ni is the grandson of the emperor, he was never loved by his father. He hides his identity and is content with being a carefree frontline border general who has no intention of fighting for power. During military campaigns against the rebels, he encounters the ambitious Cui Lin, who is the only daughter of General Cui Yi, the commander of the Cui family army. Cui Lin concealed her true identity and disguised herself as Lieutenant He, fighting alongside the army. They cross paths with each other many times on the battlefields. One is scheming and witty, the other is guileful and forthright. In their competitiveness with each other, from time to time they calculate and predict each other's plan and movement to fight as the winner, which leads them down the path of falling in love.

Wow! Such an evenly matched pair!!! I just finished the legend of Zhouhua! What a treat it was!!! She paired so well with the much older Feng Shaofeng (Lord Ding) and was more of an intellectual than physical prowess... And here she pairs equally well with the younger Xu Kai and together they exhibit such good martial arts and strategic planning... And ofcourse Xu Kai is good in every role he plays... From characters that are bit dominating like Falling into your smile, to the malleable but protective role in Me and my perfect husband... To this one... He is adorably perfect in every role he plays.... Expecting to have a great time watching this drama 🥰❤

Xu Kai acting is so natural, low key, underrated, subtle but if you watch his face, his gaze, his mouth, his demeanor, his expressions are exceptionally done. I've seen him make faces just like that, he just naturally expressive and can do it on the spot. He was born gifted in the sense that his face, his body, his movements are specially made for beauty, grace and expression. I feel his youthful beauty was at its peak in Yanxi palace when he was around 22. The guy is built like a giraffe and moves gracefully like one, even his large hands with those long slender graceful fingers. People don't seem to know his movie The Dance of the Sky empire and Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain. His range of acting and expressions are amazing especially in Lingjian Mountain. he is so funny too. he can be quite the comedian.
