Ce film date d'avant 1940, même avant 1938, à voir les bâtiments, certains ne sont pas construits...! Très beau documentaire...!

The use of the term "French Canadian habitants" by the voice-over is insulting, patriarchal and xenophobic and is followed by a list of "nice" things about the silly parochial "French" Canadians...ie, good with their hands, pious, good behind a donkey. Thankfully Rene Levesque said (in other words) "F this crap" because otherwise Quebec would be Eastern Manitoba!
