I think the system with collectables that increase loot chance is a good way to do it, makes legendaries feel good early but not painful in the lategame

@@tylercallagher3485 And maybe there is some Mayhem-like system than increase drop rate even further. Plus in BL3 legendary drop rate was also quite low on low levels AND without bonuses from guardian ranks etc. Also it seems legendaries often drop from regular mobs which is odd.

@@XXveny no legendary drop rate was way too high all around in BL3. It should be rewarding to just get a legendary. in Bl2, it was a 1/20 chance to get a dedicated drop and world drops happened a few times per story playthrough.

My 500 legendary items vault after finishing just Borderlands 3 main story , not even secondary missions , and one NG+ mode with the 4 story DLC but again without any Optionnal quest... Just make me think that, WAY LESS is needed ... it's seriously so commun to get two or even three goldy items after one fight that it's absolutely a wast of time to look at everything that is not gold . And frankly playing moze itself is ridiculously easy , that bear thing is like a kinder garden easy mode. I was wishing to see an hard game like the original was but it seems that serie too favored the casual player to make big beefy money instead of challenging journey. Hope Wonderland change that, because as for B3 , that true vault hunter mode is a joke even at M10. It's all conditionned to good gold loots for a unbeatable build , and that is exactly what the game does covers you in ledendary every time you shoot 10 things. Make us feel badass not assisted 2K !!!

I think the Jinx ring might be a nod toward the champion in League's passive "Get Excited!" Which, upon scoring a kill on an enemy champ or major objective, allows her to speed up and have bonus attack speed, stacking up to 3 times for a short duration.. Just an idea. :-)

Basically, don't let anything with Normal Hands punch you, you'll have a Bad Time.

I love the more RPG style approach and the way most items seem to really improve your stats and stat pad. With how many classes. The mix and matching of classes. And different stat and build combos. You have a ton of variety to make builds, and im hoping the focus in endgame to clear content is more prevalent in this game. Rather than just collecting good guns.

I recognize Snake Stick of the Crusher's little hydra's from Diablo 3 Wizard's hydra skill's. They act almost exactly the same way when they attack enemies. Nice Easter Egg for Diablo 3 fans!!

Diamond guantlets is a play on the financial term "diamond hands", which is someone who holds an asset (typically cryptocurrency) even during times of extreme volatility, compared to "paper hands" who sell when the price drops. The thought process being that the price of the crypto can only go up is what the red text is referencing

For the Fragment Rain of the Magician, the only thing I can think of is the Ice Dragon Eiskalt from the Tower Defense, Kingdom Rush: Vengeance ("Nothing burns like the cold!" is a voice line he says when you move him). The fact the it is a cryo weapon and summons a cryo Hydra companion really points to it being a potential reference.

So i think the names are split into two parts. "Ally's Shell casing ring" is the legendary item. "Of the surgeons eye" is the bonus effect name for the extra effects that are randomly rolled for the item.

I actually hate that I think I know the diamond gauntlet one, but there's a reddit group called wallstreetbets, a meme in the group is that stocks only go up (never down, but they go down more than up, hence the joke) so when it says elemental damage only goes up, that's what it means. Also they had a meme of diamond hands (never selling your stocks) and that also reminds me of that since it has diamond in its name. I could be wrong

Looks like a good test for BL4. Maybe they’ll add different animations for different melee types too. Hammer, sword, and fish seem to look the same. It’d also be cool to be able to just hold your melee weapon at all times (maybe/probably you can, haven’t seen gameplay for it yet).

It would be a little difficult to find one specific to your dual class if they were always randomized between the 6 classes and not the one or two you're currently playing as.

Super stoked to see the jinx ring, don’t give a shit about LoL but the show arcane was my absolute favorite and jinx was my favorite character in it. As someone else said the ability is definitely a nod to her passive ability. Anyone know what the “wait for it…” references? There’s a lot of things that happen in arcane involving her and her character that that line could be used for, but nothing besides that stands out. I’ll be doing stabbomancer with something else, probably spell shot, so the jinx ring should definitely be good and I’ll definitely run it

Yeah, -10% vs all types, but since it's only converting 30%, that's just 3% less damage, which seems like a negligible cost for leech on all weapons.
