I am just unhappy I was born in Montreal Canada instead of Italy....... but my ROOTS are there intact..... and have been there 3 times to visit this gorgeous country...... that I can call HOME........BELLISSIMA ITALIA.......may God keep you SAFE ALWAYS......!!!! OMG, Italy is my huge love❤ I was there in 2019, I've visited 3 cities - Rome, Firenze and Bologna and I completely fall in love with this amazing country. I adore everything - it's special vibe, architecture, food, people, language, even smell of Italy! Talking of language - I even decided to learn Italian. I hope I'll start doing it next year. You need to visit the Southern parts and enjoy the simple kind and generous people there. It's the best food in all of the country in my opinion. Reggio is at the very toe if the boot, surf sourounded on 3 sides by the sea, Sicily is seen easily, and it's a nice short trip to go over and see it.

Best video in a long time. Did the videographer do this during lockdown during the pandemic. There is virtually no people. No I was in Italy in 1972 and there were heaps of people then. I’m not complaining, it’s fantastic. Was just wondering. Italy is still the most beautiful place I have ever been. I have visited 54 countries in my lifetime and it never disappoints ❤❤❤❤❤

As a Roman citizen I add that - beyond Rome that needs no more words - the Lazio region is rich of many other treasures: from the Etruscan cities of Vulci, Tarquinia and Cerveteri, to the medieval Viterbo, Civita di Bagnoregio and the Castle of Santa Severa (the ancient Pirgy), all north of Rome; near the Eternal City you have Tivoli with the Hadrian's Villa, Villa d'Este and Villa Gregoriana; to the south you have the beautiful sand beaches of Sabaudia, Gaeta and Sperlonga (and its Tiberius' Villa along the sea); then the medieval Abbeys of Farfa, Casamari, Fossanova, Trisulti; and what about the enchanted gardens of Ninfa! Rome is unique, but the whole Lazio region offers real gems to turists.
