He makes it pretty clear that the only FREE one is the hard reset. I had no trouble understanding that I would have to buy an app to use either if the first two. Want a free solution? Get an iPhone! Convince Apple you are legitimate owner and they will do it for you - although you’ll have to wait a few days for the AppleID change code. I inherited a MacBook but knew neither the AppleID or the password of the deceased former owner. Went to the Apple Store and explained, gave them my email, went home, waited a few days for an Apple Support email. I changed the MacBook’s AppleID to mine and I now have a nice formerly owned laptop.

you have to get it in fast boot mode and connect it to your PC, you phone will be receiveng the commands from your PC and so you can use the adb method
