I recreated this setup with success. However creating the cable harnas was a lot of work. Does just splitting the audio jack to two dsp modules produce the same outcome as using the technique in this video?

Hello, thank you for your watching. If you input audio through the audio jacks into the APM2 modules, the two units cannot establish an audio signal connection. That's why, in this video, we demonstrate connecting the two boards via I2S.

Hi I have a question about the apm2. I am using 2 of them to make a 4 to 8 dsp. To my understanding to get a 8 individual channels I would program the 2nd apm2 seperatley so the 4 dacs are outputting different frequencies and such. My question is regarding the power. Which vin and ground can i use instead of the usb C if I would like to have both apm2s connected to 1 power rail and have a switch to let me only power 1 if I am trying to program.

Is every channel independent? I would like to try to fix my 4 in 8 out professional DSP. It is balanced with xlr in and out but i could fit line to balanced convertors. the dsp chip has gone bad and the company no longer exist. I need to set high and low pass, some eq and delays for each output. Also have manual mute buttons and a way to program from the keys and small screen would be nice.

I have one JAB5 working very well and I need for another project, 8 X channels, 4 for each speaker (4 way), can I connect one main JAB5 with one slave JAB4 and achieve 8 channels controlled as one board in DSP software? I need a crossover with 4 ways X two channels with only one analog input that can be in JAB5 main. It is possible? Thanks

Hi, Luis De Morais e Castro Simão Leal. Thank you for your watching. JAB5 cannot be connected with JAB4. JAB5 can be cascaded with JAB5 to build audio 8.0 system (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIbWfYSmh7xlm7c). But please note that, JAB5 is designed as a high-power amplifier board for mid-range and bass. It's not suggested to use it to drive treble. You can connect JAB5 with 2CH 30W TAS5754 for audio 6.0 system, which can be controlled in one DSP program. I saw a KZbin video composed of 8 channels with APM2, Are the 4 channels + 4 channels outputting the same sound in both? Sigma Studio's program tests and input changes seem to be the case. Is it possible to independently control each channel? If 8-channel independent control is possible, I think it will be possible to create a soundbar with 3D sound applied.

Hi mate, if you have 2 pcs of APM2, they could be completely independent, but we don't have existing firmware, thus you need to modify from our samples or create one by yourself.

if you can't root the channels individually, this constellation makes little or no sense to me. Is there a way to synchronise two APM2s without having to exchange PCM data? Only that the signal from both APM2s is output synchronously at DAC0, 1, 2 and 3 at the same time (unless you put a delay on one channel, of course)? What is the general delay of the ADAU1701? Is it possible to run them unsynchronised in parallel, without causing large time deviations between the units when they receive power at the same time? 1st (APM2) ADC0 and ADC1 do not need to be distributed to the DACs of the second APM2. It's only about the synchronicity between the two.

Hello. I have two JAB5 DSP/AMP modules. Wondom states that it can be connected together to get 8ch of outputs. For now I have achieved that these amps play same BT signal together. They are connected with wires needed to cascade them. The problem is that I can't find a way, how to configure them both at the same time in sigma studio. For now I can do that just by connecting ICP5 to one dsp, make changes, than connect that ICP5 to another and again do some changes. I have 3way in my car and because of that I can even do proper time alignments. Please tell me if there are any other options. Is it possible to configure these dsp's together in one time. Like connect two ADAU1701 with different inputs and outputs or something and use one project file in sigma for tuning.

Hello. Please note that one ICP5 can control only one DSP at a time. You can modify DSP program of master mode JAB5 at first, and then modify the DSP program of slave mode JAB5.

i wish so bad you guys would just sell this in a box with all the components, , its annoying and overwhelming, first you need this, then you need that, ohh but wait now you need this, . . . why not just sell it all together ??? it makes no sense, you guys would sell so much more product if you sold it as a all in one kit like the dayton audio dsp unit BUT with access to the sigmastudio software
