survival show groups have always been temporary regardless of talent 😞 heard kepler extended their contract tho!

The point is companies put their trainees on these shows like mnet (expect for mnet japan, there all permanent but not Korea mnet for some reason) so they can build a fan base for when they debut in their actual permanent groups. It’s annoying and stressful though. Shows made by the actual companies like monsta x, twice enhypen etc are the ones that are permanent groups.

@@brrrr2237It seems the only reason they renewed because their actual companies don’t know what to do with the at the moment. Which says a lot because thats literally the whole point of sending on these shows to get fans so they had enough time to have a group for them to join. But as usual a lot of companies are incompetent.
