As I wholeheartedly agree and definitely applaud this project and any time the rappers of SVT sing(in fact I quite love Mingyu’s voice) but the rapper can’t sing stigma has been broken...many times over now. By SVT themselves, all of Stray Kids, Peniel, Oneus Leedo. On the flip side(women) Mamamoo’s Moonbyul, Dreamcatcher’s Dami, Twice’s Dahyun and Chaeyoung, Oh My Girl’s Mimi, BP Lisa and Jennie.... I think it’s just nice to sit back and enjoy it because we know they’re good singers, not that they’re good even though they’re rappers. They’re all rounders as they say.

Really interesting how Mingyu, Wonwoo, and Lee Hi's voices blended in this song. Given that the guys are rappers in SEVENTEEN, they both have this raspy and deep vocal color which fits so well with the angst the song demands. Lee hi's voice has always been amazing to me because of its delicious deepness and fullness and I must say her voice is a really great addition to the song. I really like it; It is something I'd listen to during rainy days or when I'm working on something (since it's just laid back, chill at most. Reminds me of H&D's Umbrella). As for the music video, I'm delighted it didn't focus on either of the guy's quote by quote 'suffering' for liking the same girl but instead sprinkled a little bit of sadness, longing, and amazing friendship at the end. The rain scene touched my heart; It's refreshing to see a plot like this end with the supposedly rivals pick their friendship above else. Congratulations for this single, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Lee Hi! Really well done.

one of mingyu's line says "I'm hiding in the rain always smiling" that means he's hiding his tears by smiling under the rain. And in the last scene, Mingyu invites Wonwoo to stay with him under the rain. Wonwoo gladly accepts. So in the end it means, although they made up to save their friendship, they're both still hurt from the decision they made of letting of the girl. Which makes this story bittersweet indeed.
