@Penderyn Lewsyn My son has mild Asperger's syndrome, and I was thinking along the same lines. Brad seems a very sweet guy, but lacking some real soul or emotion, he looks at Lex's reactions like she's from another planet, just doesn't get it one bit. He looks totally bemused by most of the stuff they've listened to and not enjoying it much. On other reaction channels with folks who are out of their usual reference points and experience too, you can at least see some development and acclimatising going on. I don't see Brad changing the way he thinks, thank goodness he is lucky enough to have Lex, she's a total opposite balance and an enthusiastic breathe of fresh air.

@@mikell5087 The best version I heard was in 1976 at the St Paul Civic Center! Yea because I was there. Live concerts add so much more to the recorded albums because of the vision that is added. And I have burned thru all my vinyl except the fourth album that is still wrapped in the original plastic. Bought a second copy because the first was played extensively. Should of did that with all their albums.

Michael Llewellyn we weren’t all alive and sentient for that particular 3 year stretch between when zeppelin III was released and the concert I referred to. I do get the point - I came of age pre-KZbin so my favourite bands as a teenager I knew from buying their cds and then years later saw them alive when they deigned to visit Australia. However, I really don’t see the issue with watching a live performance of a song you have heard the studio version of. Especially when the band chose to release that particular live performance on a record. If you just discover a well known band tomorrow, I don’t see the inherent value of sequestering yourself from their live performances for years.

You nailed it! Always analyzing, analyzing....often says in a song "I'm confused, I don't understand what this song is about" like most of us. We get into most songs because we like the tune, melody, beat etc....we don't always know what a song means, nor does it have to have meaning. Sometimes or often a song does but in his desire to always have to 'understand' what the song is about, he misses the actual song!
@dougkydur9841

@@mikephillips8810 But we all probably listened to the song a hundred times (on the radio in the background soundtrack of our life) before we ever got around to actually listening to the lyrics. That's how it was for me anyway -- except for the bands I really liked and would buy the albums upon release. These reactors are trying to pack our entire experience of listening to the song after one take. Gotta admit that's a HUGE undertaking for anyone, which is why these reaction videos are more about entertainment than substance.

It appears to me after watching hundreds of Brad's reactions that he just doesn't feel rock music (any genre). In my opinion that is why Brad tries to focus on the lyrics because the words are something he can try to understand. Again, just my opinion, but Lex, although she doesn't have any context or history with rock, has an intuitive understanding and feeling for the music. I give Brad credit for building a channel reacting to hundreds of hours of music he doesn't feel and appears to me he doesn't even like.

It's obvious Brad likes Rap and Hip Hop and hates Rock. That's fine. What I can't understand is, I thought Rap and Hip Hop (RHH) was all about the "beats." If that's true why can't he at least appreciate the Bass and Drums in songs? It's funny that RHH artists sample a lot of rock songs but he can't appreciate it in it's original format. I seriously would love to see/hear him listen to some of his favorite songs. So we can at least see him have some fun! He literally looks like he's punching into work at a job that he hates and worked at too long. On a rainy Monday morning after getting a flat tire, got a speeding ticket and spilled his coffee in his lap! He looks miserable. (I'm sure I'll get killed for this comment)
