Appreciate the review. Most of the other reviews I have seen on this unit say the 4.4 balanced output is much better than the single ended. Perhaps I didn't see but did you run this with a balanced in course using it as a amp only? Using it as a amp and bypassing the dac allows for changing the sound compared to its using it as a dac/amp by itself. Perhaps you didn't have a 4.4 balanced source to test it? Thanks for the review.
