Great resourceful video. I have a quick question: If I use AWS S3 for selling digital products on WooCommerce, is it safe and does it protect against unauthorized downloads by third-party users? If an unknown user get the AWS digital product link, can they download directly? I also have concerns that our web hosting server has a max_execution_time_limit of 300s, and my file sizes are large. Customers often fail to download digital products due to network issues. If I use AWS S3 services, can I overcome these particular issues?

Using Amazon S3 for selling digital products on WooCommerce can be safe and secure, but it requires proper configuration to protect against unauthorized downloads. There are plugins available that help you integrate WooCommerce with Amazon S3 and handle signed URLs automatically.

What about simply creagting the Ebook as a Course in Learndash LMS and have it all in one page and simply get it password protected?
@wooninjas686 ай бұрын
If all you need is an ebook, without assignments, quizzes, videos, etc. then the best approach would be to use a content restriction plugin such as Paid Memberships Pro or MemberPress to restrict access to this file or page to paying members only.

I think that creating the Ebook as a one page course is the best solution for me 😊 thank you very much!

Something that's driving me crazy: There's no easy way to stamp the PDF with the customer's name on purchase. The current solutions don't preserve the PDF links, which is annoying. Does anyone know a way around this?

I'm looking for the same thing... Did you ever find anything? I've actually seen this solution on other systems / environments, but haven't found it for WordPress yet...

Currently, there isn’t a plugin available in the WordPress directory that fully meets those requirements. It’s likely that custom development will be needed to achieve what you're looking for. You can try using the WooCommerce PDF Watermark Plugin with Customization You could also use a custom PHP script that integrates with WooCommerce’s hooks to stamp the PDF after purchase. Libraries like TCPDF or FPDF can add text to the PDF while preserving its content, including hyperlinks.

The solution is to not use upload links for woocommerce product. Instead you can use the physical link if you have ftp/ssh access to the server hosted your store. @ WPTuts explained it in one of his video kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHmvh6etiMqEpLssi=HaCYQRhQmFIYdGTu
