Thanks for checking it out! It's a wood block with a piezo mic placed into a cutout on the underside. The piezo is wired to a 1/4" jack. Once a cable is plugged in, it's ready to go.

Very nice! What's the paddle you're using made of? I just received a MTM Mikrophonie kit to build, so I'm looking forward to making similar interactive sounds :) Is it a semi-hollow wooden box with the piezo mic stuck in the middle or something? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for checking it out! The paddle is a strip of standard foam board that has a thin veneer of paper on either side. This sound device is a solid piece of 2x8 redwood. I drilled a 2" hole in the bottom and attached a piezo mic about half-way up and centered. The jack comes out the end as you can see. I have done various box devices which you can see in some of my previous videos. Good luck w/ getting your interactive set up going!
