Kojima Shouten Inc., has been making Japanese lanterns since Edo era and they had generated own style. All process such as making frames of lanterns from bamboo, pasting Washi with frames and painting is done by hand. They are pursuing the new possibility of Japanese lanterns with keeping on their tradition and trying to create a scenery which no one has seen.
