This is so fun. My mom is helping me make this. We ordered exactly what was posted in the links and we are short 10 and 12 mm wooden beads unfortunately. so heads up for others .. you may end up short some beads so prepare for that. i am looking to buy now the other two and they are pretty cheap. Cant wait to see this completed. Thanks for taking the time to get this tutorial for us!

Girlfriend!!! You NAILED IT!! I am in LOVE!! I've been using those beads in my jewelry making projects and just LOVE them, they are so gorgeous but now I really need a chandelier or 6 etc!! I have the hoops already and the truck load of new beads are on their way. I think I might go crazy and try a 2 or 3 tier because I have several sizes of hoops. Half way into stringing the beads I will probably punch myself!! lol I bought a bunch of small wood half circles, like the beads chopped in half that oddly look really good on whatever I keep gluing them to, which is nearly everything, except the cat, he was having NONE of it! lol KIDDING!! I would never!! lol They have a kind of medieval hardware vibe when painted and may give the hoop a bit more pizazz. I think I might try try the hoop in an antique bronze stain with the wood half circles stained too which I think will make the hoop pop. I know not everyone is into hoop popping, it looks great as is and unpopped! I'm always trying to find knew, exciting and sneaky cheap ways to glam things up and my brain is now going 100 miles an hour!! Thank you for the inspiration! My decor OCD is kicking into over drive!! lol Totally subscribed and liked but would have hit the 'love' button if there was one!! Take good care, Hugs from Montreal

You did an amazing job and this is the first video I seen showing how to attach the wooden bead chandelier to the light fixture. Thank you for being honest about stringing as well. I had planned to make this in two tiers but I’ll opt for just one since stringing takes forever. Thanks again!

Hi Sara, so glad I came across your channel and you :-) I had started to watch another channel making one of these and I felt so confused, I think it's more about different ways of learning, I'm certain many will not be confused by their method, even though it was clear as mud for me Lol :-D But you explained each step so clearly for me and I felt I could do this. I used to make bead necklaces so I have a lot of patience stringing beads. I'd like to make a smaller one for my toilet, the light fixture is flush to the ceiling so I'm limited as to which shades I can use, this design on a smaller scale I feel will work beautifully for the space...You think your bathroom is small, mine here in the UK is tiny, literally just a bath directly behind the door and the sink in front beside the bath, the toilet separate next door :-) anyhoo, I'm still grateful to have this

If you have to buy everything it will cost about $100 15 ×4= 60 for the beads. 14 for the light fixtures 16 for the embroidery hoop Plus shipping. 5 for the word glue if you don't have it already 4 for the eye hooks 4 for the beading line

I really, really want to do this chandelier but I dont have confidence in myself 😕
@MadeBetterHome4 жыл бұрын
Well what if a stranger on the internet (me) said she really believes in you and you should try any way even if you don’t have the confidence?! Here’s how I see it....if you don’t try, you’ll 100% not have a bad ass chandelier that you made. BUT, if you try, there’s a 50% chance you will have a bad ass chandelier that you made and a 50% chance that you’ll be exactly where you are right now. I like those odds!!!!! Do it! Show us when you’re done! We are SO good at clapping!!!!!

I love this project! Can we just ban all boob lights? They're put in by unimaginative construction guys who also seem to favor cutting in decorative wall niches and odd placement/installation of the house thermostat. They gotta go!
@MadeBetterHome4 жыл бұрын
Tricia Harward Hahahah the location of the thermostat is one of my biggest pet peeves. I’m always like “WHY?!” Not all construction guys are bad guys. 😂 but the ones that make those thermostat decisions are soooooo rude.
@caligurlz284 жыл бұрын
Yes!! The boob lights need to go and I could not agree more about the thermostat location. I’m currently trying to brainstorm a new idea to cover mine which is smack dab in the middle of the wall centered down my hallway. 🤦🏼♀️ Right now I just have a large wood framed mirror leaning against the wall in front of it. Comes in handy when I’m leaving the house and need a quick outfit inspection, but also a bit boring. Ugh! These construction companies need more women helping design the layouts!
