Since we were married we had not bought a base for our mattress, I think most of us started like this. I built a high quality wooden base for a double bed that without a doubt I will soon continue adding things, such as drawers or a headboard. I hope this video will help you to start a new project for your bedroom!
Materials:
-1 sheet of Birch 3/4 (which by the way I asked to be cut into strips)
-5 1-inch x 4-inch x 12-foot boards
1 2 '' x 2 '' x 8 'bar
-Screws (chilillo, pija) of 1 1/4 in (3cm)
-Carpenter's glue
Total inversion:

Circular saw (if you do not have you can buy the cut wood)
Japanese handsaw
