I bought a machine off of Amazon it wasn't that expensive I don't know if it's the wires or the handpiece but I'm working around 80% on the turnip it'll be glowing soon as I touch it down it's almost like it goes cold any solution could it be the wires they supplied they don't have enough resistance

This was awesome!! The fur looks so so real! Do you find that it's easier to burn portrait than to pencil them? I know that's a weird question, but I couldn't EVER draw realistic portraits.. just wondering if you feel if there is a difference, maybe burning is a little bit more forgiving?

Thanks!! I wouldn’t say burning is easier, but I do enjoy it more, so it doesn’t seem like as much of a chore. Burning takes as long as drawing and I can’t erase anything, so there’s an added layer of pressure to get it right. But burning on a low heat makes it easier to avoid mistakes.
