It would be really nice if you included a copy of the line drawing so we could carve along with the video.

@@swartwoodart2558 sorry I thought I had written that in my personal notes But what it actually means is that I would like to relief carve a falcon and a duck. So if ever you feel so inclined to do a video on those subjects that would be cool

Very useful and informational video. Thank you! Question for a complete beginner like myself which videos about sharpening the knifes would you recommend?

Thank you for the great video! Just a quick question, what brand of tools are you using? The logo seems unknown to me. Thanks!

Palm tools are Flexcut, long straight ones are Pfiel

Hi I’m looking at starting relief carving and came across your video. For a beginner do you think fishtail or straight gouges?
@swartwoodart25583 жыл бұрын
Fishtail would have more uses, more likely. Just keep in mind the more you sharpen, the shorter the "tail" will get. But either will work really.

Again, great advice and practical tips to get me pointed in the right way. BTW the link to your etsy store in the "about" section of your KZbin channel isn't working. I love your art!

Thanks! Etsy link should be working now.

Well Done Sir! I Really Like Your Clock Pattern. Is a copy of it for sale?

No, it was a one off that got carved up during the process.

@@swartwoodart2558 So will you mind if I snapshot a picture of it, and convert it to a drawing? I probably have to mirror it to get the full clock.
