Tickled to see the Amaretti note on your box in the kitchen, as well as the Grand Marnier bottle on the table. From the generous Drennan of Fergus the Forager fame i learnt how delicious wood ears are preserved in Grand Marnier (great snack for the shorter days/ longer nights). He also gave us beech seedling leaves to try, which were surprisingly yummy - i see you have a jar of noyau there. 🙏🏽 🌳🕊💚

Good for sautee or stir fry vegetables..you can't go wrong about it..stir fry any noddles and throw some of these beauty with your mix or choice of vegetables. I am collecting mine soon.Good videos.

Here in Japan these are commonly used cut into thin strips as a topping for ramen. You can buy them dried in most big supermarkets.

Just been out looking for woodears for the first time ever. Barely found any, the ones i did find were already dehydrated on the trees i found them. I gathered the dehydrated ones anyway. Will go look elsewhere tomorrow.

Hi Mick - that's a lovely thing to hear. I will get them back up at some point but the old videos will need a bit of tweeking before going publishing again & editing all the footage I have takes an age but I'll make a note to get them up asap for you.
