And how refreshing to see hard hat and hi-viz free work in action …

I would have enjoyed the video more if the undesirable music had been omitted. When watching sawmill videos I like hearing the 'saw singing'! I'll check for future videos, thanks.

I understand your point but I thought I should just let you know why I felt that I had to add the music track. I only had the audio from the action camera that rode on the saw which, due to the vibrations, was pretty poor quality. The drone footage has no audio at all. So as I cut the drone footage in with the action camera I had poor sound and patches of no sound. I have recently purchased a portable digital sound recorder so that in future I will be able to record a separate high quality audio track. All the best, Martin

I don't mind the music, just wish the men in the woods would trim the ends off on the logs as I have seen the "jiggers" throw blades off. It comes out pretty nice but the tree going in should be docked heavy when that nasty

Hi Morgan, Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I cringed when I was editing the video and saw the torn out fibres from the felling cut on the end of the log. I felled those cedars but of course it was a team effort bucking them and using a teleloader to move them from the felling site. It is certainly bad practice to leave the torn out fibres sticking out of either the felled log or the stump - too easy for people to get speared on them. I know that I left the stumps cut clean. Other than that I hope that you enjoyed the footage of the mill in action. Sadly, I don't get the chance to film beautiful machinery like that very often. All the best, Martin
