This one is a good example of your best work. Just the right amount of paint where you needed to, but preserving the beautiful wood were it could be . The color combination is stunning . Well done .

This is one of my favorites! Your pieces always turn out beautiful. The oil finish was amazing. I'm 66 yrs old so I have a special place in my heart for mid century, it's the furniture I grew up with. I had a good chuckle at your staging, we had those exact ducks hanging in our house.

The color is so much better. I love how the lighter portions of wood grains oftentimes adds a shimering effect. Beauttiful.

Wow! You really brought out the color of the wood on this piece. It was sooo very rough when you got it. Someone was really rough on this piece of furniture b4 you got it. It looks beautiful now. You really know what you are doing with wood furniture.

I love this combination of a black painted part and the nutmeg finish part on the same piece. I have yet to see one piece that I did not like. You have the foresight to see which part to leave alone and which to paint. Marvelous!

Can you do a series about common furniture problems and how to fix them. ie all the methods to fix warped drawers, when to remove a veneer vs use wood filler, when clamping is necessary, etc?

Really nice makeover! The wooden top is so gorgeous now. I love that you left mostly wood but really cleaned it up. And I like the parts you painted black. That worked really well. Good job on the hardware. I like how you show all the broken parts and how you fix them.

I am certainly going to try Fusion paint now! I do the same kind of wood/paint combos on MCM pieces and love the wood grain that is hidden beneath the original finish.
