I love that you kept the "failed" attempt in the video. Too many DIY content providers tend to only show successes, but we learn from our failures more than we learn from our successes. Thanks again Matthew!

Howdy Matt, thank you for the creative video. The mortar matters the most!!! There's is no release. Oil and procedure to make a better reveal! It's the consistency and the way you place it. Start in your corner and consistently pour it in. Moving to the final destination. It's the wave that you look for. I've made precast concrete for 12 years now and it has very very much changed from them till now. I do know that "flow" matters. I have a vibration table (4foot ×8foot) and still have cured air pockets. It's a fine line, even razors edge of perfect. Try using an oil instead of the powder. Like Macaroni, clumps happen it's inconsistent. You have thicks and thins in spots of powder. Absorption. Looked sweet and awesome fn project.

17:11 when you are adding depth and using multiple colors like that, at 17:11 I found when painting miniatures years old and when doing an antiquing effect to cabinets that the black is easier to apply first, then when you let that dry, you can go back over and hit the high spots with a drier brush that won’t flood the area- just enough color to clip all the high spots, then blend with that same brush after it is almost completely dry. One of those 4x6 trim things might work great for just hitting the top of the grain without the valleys.

My comment I left on a video couple weeks ago like I don't know how this works. Anyway, I was trying to get a recent video and then I see you did this one 4 days ago. So I'm hoping that you'll take a look at my remarks on the trellises and like I say, I left it on a comment of show you that a couple weeks ago. And like I say I see this here that was done 4 days ago. So wow, please get back to me. I would be interested and know if that remark is true. Thank you Mr. Peach. You're amazing and I like what your kids are doing okay. You've taught your kids something. My dad taught me a hard working career but I stuck with it. Had a family but it was not enough. I was good at it. Cares and stuff once I get up and go so don't know how good I'll be because I'm not much of a talk or but you never know that questions I asked. Good day. You guys work on the long

Thanks for the process! I really appreciated. The stone sinking problem of the first try maybe could solve with a different technic? I wonder, if it would possible to put scrap wood on the bottom of the mold and use the prepared small wood planks for the sites of course. After a couple of hours (that‘s the tricky part - how long would this be? I have no clou!) use the big prepared wood as a stamp. Any concrete works and you can make several in a row, if you got more molds with prepared wood sites! Keep you good work up! Great ideas, very good way to teach and a very sympathic voice! Love your chanel;)
