Wood stove repair and rehab - Jotul 602 - made in Norway

In this video we take a “dead” woodstove with a crack in it that has been out in the weather for years, and make it useable again.
We weld the back, reline the firebox and paint the outside.

I just found the same stove no cracks a lil chip instead and cast inside is also in great shape

You can purchase almost every part of this stove. And it's not very expensive.

Did you get the vertical crack? Or was that just paint edge? Also, rustoleum makes a more permanent brush on version of this spray paint. What an elegant stove! Good job!!

Thanks! I think that vertical one is just the paint. I would have liked a brush-on paint for sure!
