Very nice piece! When I first saw a picture I figured it was a vase with a lid but you nailed it as a hollow form! Not a big fan of dyes but man that black really makes the burl pop! Nice job, love it!

OK Bruce that does it! I hear by under my powers of one of your subscribers Knight you Sir King of hollow forms and pedestal bowls. Your hollow forms are top notch work. The shapes are so well designed they seem know sit there and enjoy being looked at. I take it was dyed when you stabilized it? I really liked how that looked. It would have looked great without the dye later on but that is me and it still is fantastic. Well done Bruce and take care..not sure about you but we are having devastating fires around here. Gary

LOL, thank you so much Gary! That was awesome! I picked up the blank from Greg Dahl @ Oregon burls already dyed and stabilized so I cant take the credit. As far as the fires, the Big Creek Fire is about 50 miles away from us and has devastated all my camping and fishing areas i grew up using and still visit (Super bummed)! The air quality is terrible! Ive seen the fires up your way and doesn't look good either! Stay safe buddy! and thanks again for the Knighthood!!
