Wood Wood x Asics GT-2160 "Cream / Oatmeal": Review & On-Feet

Wood Wood recently teamed up with Asics to release their very own take on the GT-2160 silhouette. This model features trail-inspired touches like loop eyelets and rope laces, and incorporates touches of colour like green and purple among the otherwise neutral tones. Just got these in today and they really look amazing in hand. This is my 2nd Wood Wood collaborated sneaker (Salomon XT-Slate) and my 1st ever purchase from Kith. The details are really great. If these happen to remain under the radar I might come around to getting a second pair. Definitely one of my favorites of the year. 🔥🔥🔥

When I picked this up the first time, I had no idea what I had in my hands - it was such a sleeper from 10 feet away, but as I got closer and saw all the unique construction, material combinations and colors they used I was tickled.

I got a good look at them at Kith. I was really there for the Kayano 14 Imperfect... sadly, they didn't have them in store (only online), so that made my trip pointless. The Wood Wood 2160 is nice and I do like the subtle hints of other colors, but overall I wasn't feelling it.

I'm glad i actually copped a pair i won on a raffle i entered seems like they flew under the radar until they sold out in minutes on the Asics site and then everyone went to the boutiques to scoop a pair a lot of the sites that had em sold out beside a few. i def like the Wood wood branding on the tongue u dont really see that much near the front of the shoe its usually just on the Tongue tag.
