Not only is this a great demo of the woodchuck but it's the highest quality audio I've ever seen on a "do it yourself" video. Congratulations Matt & your cameraman, job well done.

Matt I thought the directions that came with it and the pic were not real clear to a complete novice who never saw one of these tools before now. Your video clarified my questions about how to assemble the tool and gave me a good idea of how to operate the Woodchuck Timber Jack Log Tool. Thank you sooooo much for the clear and concise presentation.

After watching this about two years ago, I bought this. It has really been helpful. It makes cutting firewood so much easier. It is extremely tough. I have lifted a 50 ft tree off the ground with it. I do not think it can be broke. When I do push to the limit such as a extremely long tree that has girth and weight, my strength runs out at which point i move it down the tree and lift a shorter portion. I would buy again except I think this will last forever. I have told my friends that cut firewood about it and they bought it too. Must have have for firewood cutting. No more chain in the dirt. No more binding of saw.

It isn't often I see a product video and immediately buy the product. I did in this case. This really is a superior tool (improved timberjack). It is easily assembled and made of superior materials. Whether you are a commercial cutter, or homeowner, you will absolutely love the Woodchuck. Good job on keeping the video demo short, tight and to the point.

1/4” walled T6 aluminum tubing, powder coated steel(not stainless) and quality hardware make this simple tool worth every dollar. I have used it in sand, mud, dirt and rocky riverbeds with no issues. Solid engineering and construction! All parts made and assembled in the USA 🇺🇸

Great video. Apparently they no longer send the unit with legs attached. In my assembly, it went together easily, but did not indicate a distance the inside foot should be from the outside one. Any information before I discover through trial & error would be appreciated! Thx

An optional larger jaw would be nice to accommodate larger diameter logs.... or would the aluminum handle not be able to handle big logs?

Straddling that rig while sawing doesn't look like a good idea to me. What's to keep the handle from flipping up and hitting you in the jewels?

Nice video. But I hope you don't hurt yourself chainsawing without chaps, gloves, helmet, or apparent hearing protection! Folks--don't do this! I usually cut about 4 cords of wood every year for many years. I only got the chain in my chaps once--but without that, I would have been so very severely injured. I also once had the chainsaw buck up so badly once that the blade hit the edge of my helmet and screen shield. Again, it was a rare thing, but I would have slashed my face open without proper protection. Don't risk it--it's better to be hot and uncomfortable all the time when chainsawing than injured or killed that one time.

Good video...hated to see that pretty spalted wood go for firewood though.

It looks like you installed the back foot facing the wrong way. From the side, the feet should look like L's facing the same way. Maybe not a big deal.

no hardhat, no gloves, no ear protection, no chaps, instead of being worried about showing the public the woodchuck tool, i think you might want to focus on stepping up your safety game.
