Thank you so much for your video! I hope you don't mind me asking but I am having a problem at following the highlighting steps in 1:52, I can only highlight the top of the barrel but not the bottom, what could i do?

I just figured it out! You have to press shift when dragging and clicking :)

First you have to select the top face by dragging the mouse to the left side then holding down the shift button and selecting the bottom face by dragging like what is in my video then hold shift and right click and duplicate face

hello, thanks for tutorial, but i always have some blue lines like grid on my object, how to remove it? i have maya 2024. will it appear when i render this or something?

Brother, that is the line of segments. How many segments are there in your object..No issue with that line

This is a great tutorial, I found it very helpful but my only question is at 2:04 why did you duplicate faces? I haven't used this tool before and would appreciate the info, thanks

I Select the face and made a duplicate face and our face got duplicated and then I selected it.

Duplicated because I had to keep the inner part separate, that's why I kept the outer part separate.. I hope you guys would have liked it.
