My Bass (I think that is the brand) square brush is the best brush by far I have had. It does all the things you say. I love the massage, the detangling, how it removes loose hair but not tearing anything, and how it distributes natural oils, as well as brushing through oils, such as argan and coconut for treatments. I have had this brush for a few years, and it has held up very well. My hair is healthier than it has been in a long time, and I think this brush is one of the reasons why. My hair is nowhere near as long and beautiful as yours, but it has grown a lot, and I believe it will keep growing if I keep doing what I am doing. Thanks for sharing.

I only ever use a wooden comb to brush my hair now. Before I used to use a tangle teaser, and although I never got breakage from it, I did still lose loads of hairs. Now I gently detangle with my fingers first and then comb my hair from the bottom up.

Caroline I It honestly depends on your hair because they do different things. A brush is better for like ‘cleaning’ your hair and getting all the dust out, although gunk does build up on my comb too. Combs are better for detangling. But both combs and brushes can transport natural oils down to the shaft. I guess you can use both. Use a comb to detangle and a wooden or boar bristle brush to clean the dust out of your hair.

I am a 17 yrs old female.(going to be 18 in 5 months).My haircare routine is just oiling with refined coconut oil when I feel like it(once every few months).I shampoo once or twice a week. I don't use any fixed shampoo but currently I am using LOREAL ELVIVE EXTRAORDINARY OIL SHAMPOO. I don't use any conditioner. I use a plastic wide tooth comb and use it fairly gently. My diet mainly consists of lots of white rice and vegetable curries with spices like turmeric and corriander powder. I don't eat a lot of meat. I eat fish once a week. These days I am eating lentil soups. Nowadays I am not getting enough sun due to the pandemic. I don't get enough milk based foods. I eat water about 3 to 6 glasses a day. I don't eat junks a lot. I occasionally drink coca cola. I eat refined flour rotis ang noodles almost everyday. I usually keep my hair in a fairly loose braid .I tie my hair using a fabric elastic band or sometimes a satin scrunchies and sometimes a crab hair clip. I air dry.I don't do anyhair care reatments or dye. I trim my hair once a year or a few years but this year I already trimmed it twice. I don't take supls or vits. I use refined coconut oil. I don't use any protein products. I have naturally dark brown normal hair which is naturally fine and straight. I have hair length which reaches my hip bones. My sleeping cycle has been extremely irregular since 2015 and sometimes I stay awake until 5 or 6 since the pandemic. I sometimes sleep 3 hrs or sometimes more than 9 hrs. After the pandemic my sleeping pattern is like- staying awake until 4 or 6, waking at 9:45 til 2:00 for online classes then sleep again until 7:00 or even 9:00 then the cycle repeats. I also have average screen time of 4 to 7 hrs a day since 2016 which made my eyesight, memory and IQ worse.Oh I forgot to mention but the last 3 symptoms started in early 2019 and my hairfall also started to be excessive around the same time.
