Happy New Year Deurklink! Wow, every contest always impresses me. Good work be everyone! The overall skill level keeps increasing. Ironically I like the crazy jumps on the last entry, I guess that would have been more suited for a fantasy theme. I love #45, wish it did better. The top 10 entries were insane, all that detail! But damn Mamarillas with his Zues, I couldn't stop looking at it, it was so epic! Loved Skiffa, he always does well. I love how he used the mini golf, one of my favourites, but also very underused. His buildings and tracketiture is always top notch!

If I did this contest I would build a 200 ft +wooden coaster. It would be hard to get good stats, but I could make it work. My decor would be lacking though.

Yeah, Pegasus at Europa Park and Lightning Rod at Dollywood are both roller coasters that utilize elevator transfer tracks.

I looked at it again and it could work if both tracks move up at the same time. They just didn't look connected to me. And even if they are, it looks really flimsy ;)

@@Deurklink And at 46:01 the El Loco coaster is based off of the Steel Hawg coaster also at Indiana Beach, which is that bright orange color.

The orange used in the palette is bright on the full range though which makes it look a bit strange imo. The dark spectrum of the orange should stay a bit darker

How did 35 launch a woodie uphill? Even the normal coasters who offer launches can only do that on level track.

You can either use the launched lift hill track pieces from the twister coaster, or you can set your chain lift to a very high speed!

I think a lot of the layouts were congested because the coasters had to have 11 seconds of air time.
