IMPORTANT !!!!!!! Added Oct. 2020. You must use L brackets if your pulling from the bottom of the carriage (plywood configuration), this will prevent it from flipping backwards. Not a good thing.

An electric winch with remote control might have the advantage of your being able to run from the ground or from the roof, however, will cost more and require power on the job. Nice to see someone put drill to use to raise, lower it. With rechargeable drill, would not even need 110-volt volt power. Thanks for sharing, superiorhandyman.

Haha great idea. One time use lift, save tons of money. The pros will charge cost x10, safe yourself 90% of the job. CHEERS

This is awesome. How many bundles can you lift at once? I have 85 bundles to lift and I would prefer that it doesn't take all day.

Depends on how you put it together and the winch pulling limit. This one will take 3 bundles but that's pushing it, safe limit is 2

A little optimistic. The real time was 6 hours to get the stuff to the roof and 38hr's over about 2 weeks mostly late afternoon to dark, to sheet and shingle, soffit and fascia, a 16' by 30' 8/12 camp (my own). What can I say I'm old.

@@superiorhandyman LOL, I've seen that plenty of times where I live. When I see jobs being done like that I kinda feel sorry for the home owner but then again that home owner probably chose the cheapest bid so they got what they paid for.
