Nowadays automated machines with help of softwares are doing such works, in very short period. The products created by machines may be symmetrically attractive. But when it comes to idols, we can see 'life' only in hand made sculptures, created with dedication, passion and pride. Nice documentary with best cinematography, editing a and background score.

Really wow bro.. The way you support culture and tradition.. These days even the youngsters amaze of our 1000 year old tradition, we are Unable to follow it. When I was young, I have sculpt a small Vinayagar using White erukku root (very soft). I knew how difficult it is. If you do a mistake, you cannot correct. This is very difficult work and requires enourmos paatience, 3D visualisation and skill.
