you can eat totems ahead of time to transform into specific form before full moon arrives, and when it does it will refill your weremeter to enable the form you chose to keep going rather than pushing you into a random form. with the halved drain rate it's a night optimal for getting stuff done in forms

@@KitsukiiPlays Well, I don't know about other bosses, but I tested WereMoose on deerclops, goosemoose and bearger. Deerclops can be literally tanked. Goosemoose can be easily kited and you can actually kill her before weremeter drains Bearger was a hard one, I had to fight on the pathway for increased speed, and it was a close call, I ended up with very low hp at the end of the battle and my weremeter drained a second after I killed him, but I did it anyway. So I don't really know why some people are complaining. You can always carry extra food with you and a second idol, get away from the boss before you change back to human, heal up, restore your sanity and turn into weremoose again. The only problem are the shadow creatures that may interrupt your fight if you run insane while battling.

Here's something u might want to steal. In the second rework (the one woodie got the next day after the first one) they make the sanity and the wear meter decrease slower so u can be in a wear form for half a day in game. So say hello to massive deforestation.

The totems remind me of the transformation masks in Majora’s mask. The moose packs a punch, the goose is always on the loose, and the beaver can help collect recourses. All have their clear use and utilities for specific situations.

I’m not sure if this is still true, but Woodie’s ace is actually his wife...(iirc, it contains the spirit of said wife, who he killed during one of his were-rampages. The main problem I have with this is the fact that you drop to 0 hunger no matter what, which is mad worse by the fact that you cant carry foods with you while transformed. And maybe make it so the charge in moose form instantly destroyes small objects without pentaly, small trees shrubs bushes heavily mined boulders. And increase the penalty as size goes up, from object destroyed but stunned and to only damaged and stunned. And just as an idea, make it so the beaver can build dams as a special structure, I dont know what they would do i just want it.
