I don't think this is the obscure path to victory you were thinking, but you could tax collector and remove the top bunny warrior to then make another officer thus giving you 6 evening actions. Then you make the same moves as shown. You could still craft a cobbler and get the free move this way but obviously you don't technically need that.

This is on the right track! You will indeed remove that warrior in the Rabbit clearing using Tax Collector, and for this obscure path you will need to craft Cobbler. Here's a key condition to help get you there: no WA warriors march *into* Texas. =)

I was thinking something similar - craft both Tax Collector and Cobbler, and use Tax Collector to remove that warrior, but don't make it an officer. Cobbler: Move from the bottom right clearing to the unsympathetic rabbit clearing to its left. 5 actions: Organize in that clearing, recruit twice at the fox base (we have two warriors in reserve, thanks to Organize and Tax Collector, and recruiting twice there means we now rule that clearing), move a warrior from the fox base to the unsympathetic mouse clearing to its left, and Organize for the win.

@@1up20x6 Bingo!! This is the correct alternate path to victory for the WA. The key is, as you say, getting those two warriors back into the supply so we can recruit them at the Fox base. The order of operations is important in this one, well done.

Why don't we start with a line from Texas to the rabbit in the bottom right? It kinda encourages the eerie going north and creates tention between them and the cats (slowing both down) while we are out of the vagabonds way, because he will most likely go for the ruins.

Puzzle 6 1) I don’t really get why you eliminate from the start the possibility of a mouse base on turn2? With your starting hand, you can have one mouse and two wild partisans overall, which is enough to spread then revolt? 2) You say that the Eyre might be tempted to go East rather than North anyway, making the mouse clearing NW of Texas not so great for fishing partisans thanks to movement. Why don’t you consider the mouse clearing between Texas and Florida instead? This one is more in the Eyre’s way. I guess a more general question is : do we want this mouse clearing sympathy token to be left alone or not? I’d say no because we want cards.

This is a fair point! A "mousetrap" setup is valid here for the WA. My thought behind aiming for rabbit or fox was that we already have the supporters ready to threaten revolt in those clearings (as opposed to hoping for an additional bird or mouse supporter) But, let's think about the meta for a moment. Because Texas is so advantageous, it actually is most sensible to create an additional threat in the mouse clearings. Opponents will be incentivized to destroy the fox sympathy, hopefully gifting the WA the supporter(s) they need to revolt in mouse. It's a gamble, but it creates problems that opponents will need to react to. Thanks for the comment!

@@arthursimsa9005 in general, I think that's the best thing to do. Exceptions depend on suit distribution, for instance: if the only way to spread sympathy 3 times locks you in a bad part of the map.
