how do you raise the intake feed roller when you stall your tractor out on a big chunk of wood that is stuck between the chipper knife flywheel and the feed roller?

Once everything is turned off, we recommend removing the spring tension and lifting the roller up to remove the clog. If you still need help with this issue please call us at 1-855-476-6455 and press 2 for tech :)

I would think (and I am not sure), but I would think that when the pto is disengaged, the red bar would be pushed in to reverse the feed. Then, when the pto is engaged, it feeds the material back out.

I like seeing that window for setting the bed knife. I wish the WC88 had that feature! I like the 88, but if I wanted to get nit-picky, not being able to set the bed knife with a feeler gage buggs this old machinist.

Unfortunately the bed plate gap tool and window is only on our new chippers as it is a part of the housing. However, on our previous models a tip that one of our senior techs came up with is using a marked flat edge to display between a 1/16"-1/8" between the flywheel blades and bed plate by going in the clam shell.
