Very informative video! I noted your unloading drill is different to mine in that I remove the mag first and wrap my thumb over the ejection port to drive the ejected round down into my cupped fingers. never dropped one using this method. Well presented and enjoyable video . Thanks

Great video again peter! I prefer barrel down carrying my rifle but I liked your illustration of both methods and I appreciate you showing us quad sticks in fast use and not actually opening them up! I say this because on my land I would rarely be able to use the quad option but it’s good to have the ability

Think they're Viper-Flex. Bushwear sell them and they have now been improved. New style are called Stix Elite and are excellent!

Not too impressed where your muzzle was pointing when you chambered the round (10.20) after the shot on the muntjac target!

re: mounting rifle demo.... your movements seemed all rather fast to me. I've found deer are very tuned into movement.

to me it looked a very horizontal shot and didnt see any backdrop behind the shot but i dont know the area just saying i wouldn't have taken that shot. i was under the impression that after taking deer down you immediately despatch the deer with a cut to the throat as i have been told that waiting the 5 minutes you said and the deer was still alive this releases stress hormones into the blood which gets into the meat. i welcome comments on this.

when a deer is shot in the chest there is no urgency to bleed the animal straight away because the animal has blead out in the chest cavity , although if the deer is shot in the head or neck it is a good idea to bleed it straight away.
