This is why the internet and KZbin are so vital for our future......individuals like Len Merlo being able to tell his experience FIRST HAND of a legendary, historical moment in time. Imagine 50 years from now, those young individuals asking about what it was like to experience September 11, 2001........thank you for this upload and for sharing your memories Mr. Merlo

You sir, and others like you that are with us, are now living treasures. Please tell your stories. Thank you very much ! ☮️✌️ I was in Middletown, NY at the time. Didn't go after getting discouraged by the unbelievable traffic and later the mud ( very wet year - 1969 ). Also I was a bit on the younger side too. However, I've never lost the vibes. Still a hippie. ✌️☮️

I’m glad you enjoyed it. Although over 400,000 people attended Woodstock, everyone’s experience was unique.

I was invited to go by some friends and something told me it was going to be an exhausting journey so I didn't go. I kinda half regret not going but on the other hand there was an army of hippies to hang out with at home. Lots of weed and whiskey and music. So we kinda had our own little Woodstock. Anyway, those were the days.🌼🌺

Slight problem: Jimi played Monday morning, not Sunday.

He can't have seen Hendrix. The running order of all the bands for Sunday was well out. Hendrix didn't come on the stage until Monday morning at 9:00 am and played till 11:30. So if he was at work Monday, it didn't happen.

It’s been quite a few years since Woodstock 1969. It’s possible he went to work Tuesday morning and drove home Monday.
