Our cross country RV trip brought us to Woodstock - Quechee area of Central Vermont. It was in late September when the fall colors were dominating the tree tops all over the region. In the first afternoon, we toured a few of the many covered bridges of this region and explored Woodstock downtown. The following morning we hiked in Quechee Gorge and all the way upstream to the Dam and beyond. We then visited the Billings Farm and museum. The next morning, Zohar drove to Jenne Road Farm for sunrise photos and later we visited Vermont Natural Science (VINS) for an interesting show of wild birds. We ended the day in the Simon Pearce Glassware factory and shop.
In the following day, we drove some of the amazing Green Mountain scenic roads, we hiked the Thundering Falls Trail and end up exploring Rutland, before returning to our RV park in Quechee. Our last day in the area was dedicated to driving the scenic roads of Woodstock and we experienced the Sugarbush and Sleepy Hollow farms.
