Wow! What size and make is that enormous gouge that you were using at the start. Where did you get it ... fab. Love your work too. Seasons wishes.

It's a Dakota brand 1.5" roughing gouge. Not the highest quality to be honest, handle finish isn't great, but seems to work perfectly fine. P.S. I'm sure it cost a lot less when I bought it years ago!
