Just have to say that listening to you talk is almost as relaxing as listening to Bob Ross. ❤!

I’ve tried to dabble a little in other things. My leatherwork is pretty rough though. Thanks for watching!

@@Geiserwoodturner I guess you realised that *tis* should have been 'tips'. :) :) - I did pop over and watch how the wallet was made. Very nice. I even went and had a look at the web site. I wonder if Father Christmas would deliver to Spain..?? Will need to check with the wife. Take care.

Already put that bad boy to use. Unfortunately I didn’t get any video on it. I was just too excited to give it a go works excellently!

Nice project, lovely piece of wood. One point in the UK we measure bowl gouges by flute size but spindle gouges are measured by the bar stock size ! Not sure why but that is the way it has always been done.

Oh! I knew something was different. I thought all were measured by flute size. Thanks

What a awesome piece they l hope the leather man liked it. Where are you based ? The piece of wood looked lovely and the grain in it is fabulous, the finish you used on it really shows the wood of and the colour of the wood like all the groves you are really clever

Wonderful! I'll use that as an intro project. I just started trying my hand on pole lathe turning (no power outlet in the basement compartment). Thanks. A lot!

Cool that you are using a pole lathe! I built one last year maybe I can get it out when I have more space.

Very cool! Where do you get your wood blanks?

When I made this I bought the Cocobolo from someone on Etsy but he no longer has this. I have bought it from craftsuppliesusa.com but it has become so pricey I usually stick with domestic hardwoods lately.

Is there a way for people to order these kinds of things from you?
@Geiserwoodturner4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for asking! As of right now I only have in person sales, but I am currently working on an online presence so that I’ll be able to ship items. It’s a work in progress, but I should have at least some items up in a few weeks. Follow me on Facebook or Instagram for updates. @geiserwoodturner on both platforms.

Do you sell these?
@Geiserwoodturner2 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry I no longer offer something like this for sale. They became too costly with too much lead time for me to offer with hardwoods I need to use for this! Thanks for watching, and for your interest.

Just Subscribe to your channel. Really Enjoyed this Video. And Following you On FB and Instagram. And Placing an Order for One Of The Cocobolo Leather Burnisher. If You’re Selling Them. 🤙🏼
@Geiserwoodturner2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate it! Unfortunately I don’t have a good source of cocobolo right now so I’m not making the burnishers. Since you’re following me you’ll know if that changes. Thanks so much!
