1st BOOM!!!! I love it mate, especially the wobbly head. Reminds me of the nodding dogs everyone had on the back shelf of theirs cars in the 70's. I think you and Claire ought to open up a Zoo of wooden animals. I would certainly visit. Just off to watch the Hammer Restoration which I didn't know you had posted. Take care my friend and speak when you are ready. Cheers, Huw

Hi Huw... Well done you... I will pin you... Haha.. yes it made me think about the nodding dog... Perhaps a project for the future... Myself and Claire seem to have cornered the market in my animals... This video shot up to 2.6k in 24 hrs which was awesome... But then it suddenly flatlined... I can't work it out.. so annoying... Similar to your dovetail pen video I guess... I changed the title but to no avail... Take care...All the best.....Andy

Hi there Andy 👋🏻 Looking good, your little Bert, oh sorry, bird I mean 😉 I think this must be a woodpecker with a bit of a headache… Seems to me that he is rolling his eyes upwards, probably after a hard day in the forest… Padouk and ebony would also make a lovely contrast on an overworked bird like this… You know, red eyes from staring into the computer for too long 😉 His head reminds me a bit of those wobbly dogs that people used to put behind the rear window of their car… next to a roll of toilet paper with a handmade crochet « hat », ha ha ha… You don’t see those around much any more these days 😂 Well, lovely bird, the wood is beautiful and the finish looks so smooth 👍🏻 Well done, Andy, take care! Byeeeee 👋🏻😉👋🏻 Jude

Hi Jude... I'm glad that you like my little bird or Bert... The rolling eyes... I intended to put the dark part to the front, but then forgot... 🙄.. I also thought of the wobbly dogs... as did Huw... could be a future project... Not sure about the toilet paper and crochet hat ... Not long ago people would have broken into your car for that toilet roll... Haha.. Take care Jude... all the best.....Andy 👋😉👋

Nice looking bird! It would be a good craft show item. A suggestion regarding naming your videos would be to include the name of the object in the title. "20 min Bird. Great gift or Easy Craft Sale" so when KZbin gives me a list of videos, I know what you are demonstrating.

Hi Greg... Thank you so much... I'm glad that you are enjoying my videos... I don't sell any of my projects so I don't really know what I would charge... A lot depends on the venue at which you are selling.. At a craft show I don't think that people are prepared to spend a lot... But if you could sell in a high end gift shop you would achieve a higher price but would have a commission to pay to the shop owner... You will rarely get enough for your time and materials but that is not why do the hobby... We do it to have fun and if you can make a bit of money to help with materials then that's ok... Take care...All the best.....Andy
